We were also graced by the Queen of the Night during our stay with her "for one-night-only" bloom, as well as gifted passionfruit for breakfast, fresh off the vines! Absolutely magical. And the villa has the best ambassador ever! Puppy (the cat) was such a fantastic "host". She kept me company during bed time with her unintrusive presence. Lulled to sleep by her purrs. Missing her lots. ❤️

From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the villa’s serene setting—tucked amidst lush greenery with the soothing sounds of the river flowing beside it. The energy here is so peaceful, making it the perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation. The colonial-style architecture, with its open-concept design, immerses you in nature while still feeling luxurious. Yes, you might spot a gecko or hear the occasional cockerel crowing, but that’s all part of the charm! The three bedrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with incredibly comfortable beds, excellent showers, and thoughtful touches like bedside charging cables. The staff were wonderful—keeping the villa spotless, preparing delicious breakfasts, and even whipping up fresh green juices. The pool overlooking the river was a highlight, and I loved practicing yoga in the garden pavilion. The villa’s resident cat, Puppy, and the free-roaming chickens added such a sweet, homely vibe. Though Ubud’s fantastic restaurants and shops are just a scooter ride away, I often found myself eager to return to the villa’s tranquil embrace. Stylish, serene, and full of soul—I can’t recommend Villa Lepak enough!

The surrounding is full of greenery with soothing sound from the river flow, birds chi... I was so excited the moment I stepped into the "VILLA LAPAK BY THE RIVER" . The impression was quiet, clean and peaceful with perfect facilities and rooms set up. The surrounding is full of greenery with soothing sound from the river flow, birds chirping and a lovely cat playfully runnung about in the villa, this has make me and friends felt much at home. The peaceful and airy ambiance creates a sense of traditional Bali village and the natural tropical rainforest and river are just right infront of you, offering a peaceful escape from the city hustle. It is a wonderful place for everyone to stay and enjoy throughout day and night. The rooms are cleaned, cosy with air-con, ceiling fan and attached bathroom with heater. Kitchen and living room are facilitate with most equipment. and the swimming pool is just right infront of the living room. Thanks to the Villa staff Wayan & Kattu taking care of our need, keep the villa and our rooms clean and tidy daily. Stay in this Villa is really peace of mind and enjoyable. Very sure you will never disappointed staying in this lovely, cosy and comfortable Villa Lepak by The River. Ken Ong

Ketut made a wonderful breakfast every morning. She’s a great cook. The villa itself is very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. It is well hidden down a laneway. You cannot fit a large car down the lane. But we were advised of this by villa finder staff so it was never a problem. We enjoyed the walk past local homes anyway. Would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely enjoyed the stay at Villa Lepak by the River with my friends. The villa was tastefully designed and well decorated with lots of natural light flowing in. It is well-connected with nature, being surrounded by greenery and frequently visited... Absolutely enjoyed the stay at Villa Lepak by the River with my friends. The villa was tastefully designed and well decorated with lots of natural light flowing in. It is well-connected with nature, being surrounded by greenery and frequently visited by many animal friends. Truly a calming atmosphere amazing for clearing the mind and taking a break. All the rooms came with attached bathrooms. We were especially impressed by the breathtaking views from the living room. The service was fast and the staff were especially friendly. Housekeeper Wayan kept our home neat and tidy and even helped us to take photos when we needed. Chefs Ketut and Komang whipped up amazing dishes for breakfast and lunch (requested) respectively, which gave us an authentic taste of Indonesian cuisine. They truly made us feel welcome in the villa with their kindness and joyous spirit. The location was also great. Although it is further from the airport, it is away from the busy parts of Bali, making it extremely peaceful and serene. Truly feels different from the other crowded and busy resorts. We are also especially fond of the beautiful cat that lived on the compound. Its soft, pure white fur made us feel even more at ease; it was as if we had a resident bodyguard with us 🤣. Many animals all over the compounds like geckos and various birds, making the environment feel in touch with nature. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits.
