Villa Alice Satu is one of two villas down at the end of a quiet laneway near all the hustle and bustle of popular 'Eat Street' in Seminyak (literally a two-minute walk). There is also a handy convenience store at the end of the laneway if you need snacks, drinks, or ice cream at any time. ||The villa itself is everything you could want from a Bali experience, sparkling private pool that gets good sun during the day, open spacious living areas with enormously high ceilings and powerful fans to keep the air moving, private, manicured tropical gardens, sunny outdoor open air bathrooms and huge and very secure, quiet, comfortably air-conditioned bedrooms that can be locked from the inside. We all slept like babies each night. Each of the two bedrooms has a dedicated TV sitting area and desk if you want to retreat from the heat of the day, and huge open robes behind the bed area with floor-to-ceiling mirrors with a safe for all your valuables. But you won't need that here, there is 24/7 security on site (not that the area felt in any way unsafe). The team will come in at any time you specify to freshly cook you a delicious breakfast ('floating' if you want it), and clean the rooms while you are out. At night, they will put down mosquito coils and provide turn-down service when you are out for dinner. All of the Villa Alice team members were lovely, discreet, so accommodating, and no request was too much. ||Made, the manager and concierge, was absolutely wonderful, contacting us before our arrival to inform us of our transfer details and enquiring if there was anything we would like stocked in the villa for our arrival. From organising massages in the villa, suggesting fantastic day trip options, to sourcing some lovely Balinese incense for us to burn at our request, he did it all with a friendly smile and was always instantly responsive via WhatsApp when we had questions.||I highly recommend contracting Surya, the villa's driver, for your stay, who was waiting for us on arrival at Denpasar airport with a sign with our name on it.. He is very knowledgeable and well-connected, he can book tables for busy restaurants and events and nightclubs for you and will give you great recommendations of things to see and do. He went above and beyond for us when our credit card got swallowed by an ATM en route to Uluwatu, liaising with the bank on our behalf and driving there the next day to ensure the card was safe inside the machine, taking me back with my passport to retrieve it. Not sure what we would have done without him! ||We could not fault our stay at Villa Alice Satu. If there hadn't been so much to tempt us from the villa, we would have happily not moved from the pool for the whole stay! Thank you, Made and team, for making our time in Bali so blissful and absolutely stress-free.

The spacious villa and pool were HUGE, the location was ideal, and everything ran seamlessly from the airport pickup to our departure. Made and all of the staff were absolutely exceptional throughout our visit. We felt completely secure with 24/7 on-site security and loved being close to everything, including some great coffee shops nearby (Revolver and The Library) and the convenience store at the end of the street was perfect to have. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Bali, I highly recommend this property. We’re already planning to book here again.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The photos are spot on, in fact it's better in real life! Made and his staff were wonderful. A delicious breakfast was cooked each morning, and the villa was cleaned beautifully each day. Everything was taken care of- airport transfers, free WiFi, a welcome drink when we first arrived and a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit. Staff even came each evening to light mozzie coils and spray for insects. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. They gave us recommendations, were available at any time (by WhatsApp after hours) and security was provided at night. From the minute we walked through the door of the Villa, we were amazed by the lush gardens and beautiful pool area. The open plan living and dining area opened up straight into the pool area. The bedrooms were huge and both ensuite bathrooms had beautiful stone bathtubs and outdoor showers. We were close enough to walk to a huge variety of restaurants and cafes (Eat Street), with Seminyak Village Shopping Mall an easy 7 minute walk away. Although close to the action, we were tucked away at the end of a dead-end street (which had a small convenience store at the other end), making the villa very quiet at night. We can't recommend Villa Alice enough, it was the most perfect place to stay :)

The bedrooms are large and comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom and elegant outdoor showers that make every morning feel like a spa experience. The pool is perfectly maintained, surrounded by greenery, and ideal for relaxing afternoons in the sun. The location couldn’t be better — tucked away on a quiet street, yet only a short walk to Seminyak’s main attractions, including trendy cafes, boutique shops, and world-class restaurants. Despite being so close to everything, the villa feels like a peaceful retreat, offering complete privacy and tranquility. What truly made our stay special was the amazing staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed — from preparing delicious breakfasts each morning to arranging transportation and so on. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. Overall, Villa Alice has continued to exceed all our expectations. It’s perfect for couples, families, or friends looking for a relaxing yet luxurious getaway in the heart of Seminyak. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommended

The villa is very spacious and equipped with all the amenities we could ask for, including the private pool. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring our stay was seamless. They were incredible with my 2 young children. They cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning and would plan with us the best time to clean our rooms each day. They offered great local recommendations and assisted with a few errands.. they really went over and above and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Eat Street with some amazing restaurants and shops. Convenience store, coffee and spa is all a really short walk <2 min which was so handy. Overall, our experience at Villa Alice was unforgettable. It's a perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the best of Bali. Highly recommend
